ZAMBIA AGENCY FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES REHABILITATION OFFICER CHISOMO ZULU HAS CALLED FOR THE INCLUSION OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH AUTISM AS THEY ARE DOWN LOOKED BY THE COMMUNITY.

SPEAKING DURING THE WORLD AUTISM COMMEMORATION DAY TODAY, MS ZULU SAYS WORLD AUTISM DAY AS DECLARED BY THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY HIGHLIGHTS THE NEEDS TO HELP IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE WITH AUTISM
SO THEY CAN LEAD FULL AND MEANINGFUL LIVES AS AN INTEGRAL PARTS OF SOCIETY.

SHE SAYS IT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE MASSES TO BE EDUCATED ON AUTISM AND FOSTER A MORE INCLUSIVE SOCIETY FOLLOWING HOW THE TOPIC OF AUTISM IS UNDER LOOKED AND MISUNDERSTOOD IN SOCIETY.

MEANWHILE MULTISENSORY FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR ELIZABETH CHISOYA SAYS MULTI SENSORY SCHOOL IS WORKING TIRELESSLY WITH THE CENTRE IN EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY WITH AUTISM.
